Terry Ann Carter

Terry Ann Carter is the author of five collections of lyric poetry and four chapbooks of haiku; her haiku and tanka appear in international journals.

Terry Ann has participated in the Basho Festival, Ueno, Japan; the Cherry Blossom Festival in Vancouver; the Zen Festival in Montreal.

As the author of Lighting the Global Lantern: A Guide for Teaching Haiku and Related Literary Forms (Wintergreen Press, 2011), Terry Ann has given haiku and small book workshops in Singapore, Malaysia, China, France, the U.S. and Canada.
